“Life is so strange, so is God with games
The one wrapped tightly around me like a dog with mange
Kick me in the stomach, I shit myself in the damn street
Left for dead, wanna be knocked out like that but can’t sleep.”
Another sick jammer I did on an awesome walk-in client from Connecticut last week. Sorry, just now getting around to uploading it, things have been pretty hectic this past few weeks.
I just drew up and lined out this awesome gypsy fox for my friend Torii and now I can’t wait til the second session when we get to go full color and bring her to life. I’m glad I got to do this piece.. Thanks so much dood.
I’ve spent the better part of an hour working on a tattoo of a bearded lady for a client and listening to one of my favorite bands: Baroness. This song has been in my head for the past few weeks, so hopefully posting it will get it in your’s as well. They’re an amazing band, one of my favorite live acts ever, and the band’s singer John Dyer Baizley has done the artwork for all Baroness albums, as well has done artwork for other bands and labels such as Darkest Hour, The Red Chord, Vitamin X, Skeletonwitch, Sounds of the Underground, Kylesa, Kvelertak, Black Tusk, Daughters, Torche, Pig Destroyer, and the Magrudergrind/Shitstorm split grindcore CD on Robotic Empire.
Be sure to check them out, I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything not to like: Good music and art going hand in hand, as it should.
I did this sweet little jammer on my friend Maddie a few months ago but forgot to put up a picture. So here it is, straight from the sketchbook to the skin.
Chum Fiesta by Dead to Fall.
I have been a fan of this band for years, seen them live countless times, yet the music or the videos never get old. Check ’em out.
I drew this cool little tattoo last night and I would really like to do it this week, preferably on someone’s hand.
I have been slacking on my writing lately, however I have been trying to blog daily. I’ll keep trying! I’m a work in progress. Anyways, Happy Wednesday guys! Until tomorrow, check out my tumblr by clicking the image above and be sure to follow me on twitter @bobbyrotten13 to keep up with the insanity.
The WordPress.com stats deparment prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 27,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Scott from Yellow Beak Press just sent over this promo video for the “Tattooing as you like it” book that’s scheduled to come out in 2012. The short clip features Milton appearing on the gameshow ‘To Tell the Truth’ as well as some of the repaints that Scot has lined up for the book. I get more and more excited about this book every time Scott sends me a new email; preorder will be available soon and trust me- you’re going to want to get in on it so you don’t have to pay triple the price on eBay later on.
